Private by design
Most finance apps start by asking for your bank login. ClearBalance never will. Here is what that means in practice.
No bank linking, ever
You put your data in, so nobody else has the keys. ClearBalance never asks for your bank login.
AI chats never stored
Conversations are processed to answer you, then gone. Never kept, never used for training.
We never sell your data
Your financial life is not a product. There is nothing here to sell and nobody to sell it to.
No ads
No banners, no sponsored nudges, no attention economy. You pay with dollars or not at all.
Export everything
Download your complete data as a portable file whenever you like. It is yours.
Delete everything
One click removes your account and your data, and cancels any subscription with it.
Two-factor authentication
Add a second lock to your account with an authenticator app. Even if a password leaks somewhere else, your numbers stay yours.
It works with any standard authenticator app, it is optional, and it is free on every plan. If you lose your device, the page tells you how to get back in.
Every plan
Your account, your controls
Appearance, region and currency are yours to set. The Voice and AI Assistants toggles turn Talk with Cara and Ask Cara on or off per user, and the net worth tracker is a switch too, on when you want it and out of sight when you do not.
Every plan
Take it all, or take it away
Download a copy of your data whenever you like. The export is a JSON file containing your budgets, transactions, goals, categories, credit and loan accounts, and your import history.
Deleting your account removes your data, cancels any active paid subscription, and deletes your Cara voice history. One thing worth saying plainly: Cara voice recordings held by ElevenLabs are not part of the export, but they are deleted when you delete your account.

Who we work with
We never sell your data, and there are no ads inside ClearBalance. To run the service we do use a small set of providers: Supabase for the database, Anthropic for AI, ElevenLabs for voice, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, and our hosting provider. This marketing website also uses Google and TikTok to measure which ads brought people here, and neither of them can see inside the app. Each one processes only what it needs to do its job, and the privacy policy lists them in full.
