Terms of Service
The deal between you and ClearSuite, written to be read.
Last updated: 12 July 2026
The service
ClearBalance is a tool made by ClearSuite (ABN 63 133 867 797, NSW, Australia) for organising your own finances: recording transactions, budgeting, tracking accounts and goals, and running reports on your own data. These terms cover the clearsuite.ai website and the ClearBalance app.
What ClearBalance is not
ClearBalance does not provide financial, tax or legal advice. Reports, forecasts and AI answers are calculated from the data you enter and can be wrong or incomplete. Check the numbers before you rely on them, and talk to a qualified professional for advice about your situation.
Your account
- You need to be at least 18 to create an account.
- Keep your login details safe. Turning on two-factor authentication is a good idea.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Acceptable use
Use ClearBalance to manage finances you are entitled to manage, personal or business. Do not use it for anything unlawful, do not try to break or probe its security, do not resell access, and do not use automated tools to abuse the AI allowances.
Plans, billing and GST
- All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Current prices are on the pricing page.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never hold your card details.
- Paid plans renew automatically, monthly or annually depending on what you chose, until you cancel.
- If prices change, we will give you notice by email before your next renewal.
Cancelling, downgrades and failed payments
- You can cancel any time inside the app. You keep the paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- If you downgrade, you keep all of your data. Features that belong to the higher plan lock, and unlock again if you upgrade later.
- If a payment fails, we allow a 7-day grace period to fix it. If payment still cannot be taken after that, your account moves to the Free plan and your data stays intact.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time inside the app. Deletion removes your data and cancels any active subscription. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and where it is reasonable to do so we will warn you first.
Liability, in plain English
We work hard to keep ClearBalance reliable, but no software is perfect and the service is provided as is. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including the consumer guarantees. Beyond what that law requires, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
